John C. Haugh CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC 

John Haugh’s strong work ethic, professional integrity, and ability to adapt has driven him from the very beginning. After earning his degree from City University of New York, Haugh spent 32 years building a solid practice to serve the public. The last 24 years he has done so through his company Pinnacle Benefits Group.  The Pinnacle Benefits Group works along with Independent Financial Planners to implement life, disability and long term care insurance recommendations for their clients.

John prides himself on finding just the right product for any situation and working in conjunction with the independent advisor. It’s this kind of enthusiasm and dedication that has made Haugh a respected partner when working with financial professionals industry-wide.

Just as important to John as his practice is his community: he recently stepped down after four years of directing the Michelle Fund, a charity softball tournament which raises much needed funds to help disadvantaged youth participate in extracurricular activities. Currently, he serves as Trustee to the CHELISAM Foundation. John is married to Jeanette for the past 29 years and has three daughters: Julia, Katherine and Lexi.

Life Insurance - Why Pay More For Less?

I recently had lunch with a planner that I have been working with for about the last three years.  Although he had not really sent me many of his clients to work on their insurance needs we stayed in touch.  At lunch, I had asked him about his personal life insurance for he and his wife.  He was polite and let me know he and his wife were all set – they have a good friend in the insurance business.
The Tipping Point

If you have not already had the opportunity to read the book, The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, I strongly suggest that you do so. The book defines the Tipping Point as that magic moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.

A New Tradition

I love family traditions – no matter how big or how small.  Our family has one tradition we do on Christmas Eve, which this year may have taken on new meaning.
